New Construction Rebates
Rebates are available for the installation of energy-efficient natural gas equipment, appliances and set-back thermostats in newly constructed homes. To receive a rebate the new home must be served by Minnesota Energy Resources and cannot be participating in the ENERGY STAR Plus Homes Program. Owners or builders may apply — only one rebate will be issued for each qualifying piece of equipment. The rebate can be issued to the buyer or builder for the equipment. An itemized invoice for the equipment must be included with the application.

If the builder has applied for rebates for a home we ask that you please inform the home buyer that rebates for that home have already been applied for.

Funding is limited and can change or end at any time. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. The program application must be received within 60 days of installation.
