Minnesota Energy Resources is offering a $0.05-per-square-foot incentive for trade allies who complete qualifying
Commercial Insulation improvements for Minnesota Energy Resources business customers. This program awards contractors
that complete qualifying insulation jobs for a commercial customer with cash incentives.
Example: Install a 15,000 sq. ft. of roof insulation that qualifies for a Minnesota Energy Resources
commercial rebate and receive a $750 contractor incentive.
In order to participate in this program, you must:
- Submit a W9 form
to Minnesota Energy Resources by faxing it to 631-434-1212 or email us.
- Ensure that all submitted rebate forms have the Equipment Dealer section completed with your company's information for
every application submitted. Many contractors participating in this program will complete this section of the
Commercial
insulation rebate application for their customers in order to be sure it is completed accurately.
- This incentive is only available for existing commercial buildings. New construction (built within the last two years)
does not qualify.
- Contractor must be licensed and insured to perform these services in Minnesota.
Once the customer's rebate application is approved, the dealer listed on the application will receive an incentive for every
qualified installation. The incentives are tracked and checks are automatically issued quarterly.
