We provide rebates for installing an energy efficient natural gas hearth or fireplace in your new or existing home. You will save on your upgraded system and reduce your natural gas use year after year. We recommend that you work with a heating dealer of your choice to determine the best system for your home.

Program requirements
Natural gas hearth or fireplace must be direct vented, sealed combustion and electronic ignition.
How it works
- Find a licensed contractor.
- Purchase and install a qualifying natural gas fireplace for your home.
- Apply and submit a rebate application online or download and mail a paper copy along with a copy of a dated invoice.
- Receive your rebate check within six weeks of a completed application request.

Reminders
Check all rebate requirements on the application to ensure eligibility. We must receive the rebate application within 60 days of service.
When applying online, have your 15-digit Minnesota Energy Resources account number where equipment was installed. Have an electronic copy of your original receipt or invoice that includes model and proof of purchase.
Funding is limited and can change or end at any time. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
